t3-update-preview

Magical Brickout Theme 3 update is now live and ready for play. The update should download automatically through Steam. To celebrate we’re offering the game at a 20% discount until November 24th! Pick up a copy for yourself or a friend on the cheap now!

In Theme 3 you sneak through the Evil Wizard’s artifacts room – a private collection of relics and knick-knacks taken from the defeated kingdoms throughout the land. Prepare to see the mighty Toor’s legendary hammer and chisel. Or perhaps you’d like to see The Frozen Queen Ellie’s bowling gear? It’s all in there and more!

Theme 3 features 6 brand new levels and a new boss brick – the shrinking brick – which will shrink your ball in half. While shrunk, all bricks will require 2 hits to destroy.  To help deal with this new threat, we’ve also introduced the Superball power-up! Superball doubles the size of your ball and makes it invincible to all dangers. Use it wisely before it runs out though.

We hope you enjoy this new update and look forward to hearing your comments in our forums. More levels to come soon!

Today we’re proud to announce the next exciting set of levels in Magical Brickout – The Artifacts Room. In this theme you enter the Evil Wizard’s private collection of artifacts taken from all of the other defeated wizards and kings in the land. Pictured above is Gandolfini, the Great’s one (and only) magical ring. Also, check out the ruler of this room – the haunted pirate’s armor who’s ready to cut you down to size.

Theme 3 will include 6 brand new levels and a new boss brick – the ball shrinking brick. We’re working as hard as we can to get this out to you as soon as we can. We’ve also been busy trying to squash a few bugs that were causing some issues for some of our users. We’ll let you know as soon as everything is ready to go.

After months of hard work, Magical Brickout is now up for sale on Steam Early Access. You can purchase the game during its first week for a discount so make sure you pick it up soon!

The game is far from finished however and this is where we need your help. Being on Early Access means that we get to develop the game with your input. Please share your thought, likes, dislikes, and suggestions on the forums. Your feedback will influence the final product so get those thoughts to us.

PrintWe’ve been working very hard to get Magical Brickout into your hands as quickly as possible. Because of that I’m pleased to announce that we’ll be releasing the game on Steam very soon as an Early Access title. For those of you who don’t know, Early Access allows developers to release a game while it’s still being worked on with the goal of getting player feedback. This will allow us to implement updates as we complete the game so please leave us your comments.

The second thing I’d like to show you is our official cover art for the game. Cover template provided by www.steamgamecovers.com . The little furball you see in the image is the Evil Wizard’s mischievous little minion. You’ll see him and more fun stuff in the full game.
